WiMax.com Broadband Solutions Inc. an information and solutions provider for the wireless broadband industry has located its heaquarters at the Austin Technology Incubator in order to join the growing number of wireless companies taking advantage of ATI's expertise and focus on that industry.

WiMAX is the term used for a technology behind efforts to establish a common global broadband standard that is intended for wireless "metropolitan area networks". WiMAX technology can provide wireless broadband network access up to 30 miles for fixed stations, and 3 - 10 miles for mobile stations.

"WiMax.com provides information and resources relating to the new global WiMAX wireless broadband standard," said Michael Wolleben, WiMax.com founder and CEO.
