WiMAX is the king of BWA
'WCDMA is toast' is a well put blog post by Frank Ohrtman, another WiMax.com Blogger and Wireless industry veteran. Here, I will only further support his post with some convincing facts from India. It's not just W-CDMA but it's time to say bye to DSL and other overpriced last mile broadband connections. Either you have to embrace WiMAX or soon you will get kicked out from your broadband business.
If you are thinking that it's all hype, then you are simply wrong. The fear of losing their customers because of remarkable acceptance of WiMAX is already sensed by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in India. Internet Service Providers Association of India has urged the Telecom Regulatory Authority to facilitate the local Internet Service Providers with WiMAX licenses. Such stories are showing the unambiguous success of WiMAX.
