Alvarion Reports Financial Results; Impact of Nortel Deal Negligible on Overall Business

Alvarion announces financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December, 31, 2008; WiMAX shipments increases of 55% for the quarter and 37% for the year compared to 2007. GAPP net loss of ($0.08) for the quarter due to cost reduction initiatives and impact from Nortel agreement.
