Infrastructure awards wrap-up: Ericsson and Trango

The following list details this week's infrastructure awards for the cellular, Wi-Fi, and WiMAX industries. The contracts are broken down by transmission technology, country and vendor. The value of the contract is included when available.

Cellular

--Brazil: Brasil Telecom selected Ericsson for a W-CDMA/HSPA network deployment and systems integration of the carrier’s IP Multimedia Subsystem.

--Mexico: Ericsson said it has been chosen by Telcel to provide field maintenance activities for more than 3,800 additional cell sites in the carrier’s GSM and TDMA networks.
