Partners Airspan Networks and Stutler Technologies Announce Early Success in New WiMAX Band

Customers in 12 States Now Using Airspan WiMAX Solution in New US 3.65 GHz Band

Airspan Networks Inc. (NASDAQ: AIRN), a leading worldwide provider of WiMAX-based broadband wireless access networks, and Stutler Technologies, one of the nation's largest system integrators for wireless carriers, today highlighted successes in the recently allocated 3.65 GHz band in the United States. This band has been made available to supplement national licensed bands like 2.5 GHz.

J.J. Stutler, President and CEO of Stutler Technologies, stated, "We've been partnered with Airspan for years now, leading the industry in sales of 700 MHz broadband wireless equipment, for example. For 3.65 GHz, regulatory limitations on transmit power restrict solutions that are not sophisticated. Airspan has always led the industry in technology for WiMAX, providing significantly better performance by adding some key differentiating technologies. For other bands, these technologies provide important improvements. For 3.65 GHz, they are practically mandatory for successful deployments. Our customers are seeing that, and we're pleased to be able to provide them with something a little different than the rest of the pack."
