Intel says WiMAX will reach a billion by 2012
Intel didn’t beat the WiMAX drum particularly hard this time around – there
was very little mention of it anywhere, and even demos were run using
alternative methods of connection.
However, it wouldn’t be an Intel Developer Forum without at least one mention of
the technology. This time around, it was left to Craig Barrett to bang the drum.
