Network to provide emergency communications for Municipal and Public Safety use.

San Diego, CA - June 11, 2009 -- NetLogix, a global leader in wireless telecommunications professional and managed services, announced the launch of the recently completed WiMAX municipal wireless network for the City of Corona, CA. This initial proof-of-concept multi-use network utilizes point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and wireless mesh technologies.

In an effort to link Corona's City Hall with Public Safety and other municipal divisions, the WiMAX infrastructure provides real-time communications between multiple backbone sites. The network delivers high speed, IP-based data communications between City facilities and also provides mobile and portable vehicular data communications.

"We've been evaluating a wireless solution for a variety of purposes for several years," commented Steve Larson, IT Director for the City of Corona. "After speaking with numerous vendors and learning about the various technologies we decided that it was time to move forward with the implementation of a solution that could assist a variety of our needs across various departments."

NetLogix Vice-President of Business Development Eric DaVersa added, "We were pleased to have been selected by Corona, and are equally proud to have successfully delivered a multi-use network capable of serving multiple city agencies in a high-performance, secure and scalable network."

NetLogix's flexible network design allows for the potential expansion of both the system and the services it offers. Corona's information technology department is presently examining and evaluating network usage and performance, and they will use the data to improve emergency planning and city communications.
