ZyXEL Showcases Complete Line of Mobile WiMAX PRODUCTS AT WiMAX WORLD

ZyXEL will display WiMAX Picocell / Femtocell base stations and CPEs including the elegantly designed MAX-206M2 residential broadband gateway.

CHICAGO, Sept 30, 2008 – ZyXEL Communications Inc., a leading provider of secure broadband networking, Internet connectivity and routing products, will showcase its line of WiMAX solutions including the MAX-206M2 WiMAX MIMO Residential Gateway this week at WiMAX World in Chicago.  ZyXEL debuts its WiMAX MAX-206M2 with the launch of Sprint’s Xohm service this week in Baltimore.

ZyXEL will have a comprehensive range of award-winning 802.16e WiMAX solutions, from base stations to indoor/outdoor CPEs, SOHO VoIP routers, SIP-based camera and PC cards on display at booth #311 at McCormick Place, September 30 – October 2. 

The ZyXEL MAX-206M2 router provides users with seamless broadband wireless connectivity and the freedom to surf the Internet and access any information at home, in the office or anywhere under WiMAX coverage.  The MAX-206M2 gateway comes with dual 5dBi gain antenna integrated into the device with 27dBm output power and a built-in ICSA certified firewall.  Its versatile design, including two VoIP ATA ports, ensures carriers that their investments in mobile WiMAX devices will provide the maximum added-on values for even more applications.  ZyXEL’s MAX-206 series CPEs are the world’s first WiMAX Forum certified mobile devices that provide the highest link budget while WiMAX networks are still in the early stage of deployment.
