Sloka Telecom to unleash WiMAX initiatives

As a firm first step, Sloka Telecom has entered into an agreement with EXL Public Relations to build strong brand awareness and product positioning advantage for its product lines across target market verticals and geographies in the sub-continent.
Formed in 2004, Sloka Telecom announced its first WiMAX fixed/nomadic portfolio, including Base Station and Customer Premise Equipments in the 3.3 --3.6 GHz and 5.8 GHz range, in mid-2007 and has since then had prestigious, successful customer deployment in France.
In India, the company's solutions are currently under advanced stages of testing and commercial negotiations, with large telecom OEMs and service providers keen on expanding footprint for their broadband services. With its low cost, high performance, compact, robust, light-weight, easy-to-install, easy-to-manage base stations and customer premises equipment, Sloka solutions deliver convergence of various wireless access technologies, for subscriber and operator through state-of-art software defined architectures.
