Tranzeo Implements DFS and Receives FCC Certification for the WiFi U-NII Bands

Tranzeo Wireless Technologies Inc. (TSX:TZT), a premier manufacturer of high-performance wireless broadband and WiMAX systems, has implemented Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) which will be available on all radios operating between 5.15GHz and 5.875GHz.

The Tranzeo DFS implementation ensures Tranzeo's equipment meets regulations recently established by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission. All wireless equipment operating in the 5.25 to 5.35GHz and 5.47 to 5.725GHz bands--the U-NII bands--must support radar detection as specified by the FCC. The FCC also allocated 250MHz of additional bandwidth to the 5.4GHz spectrum; 125 MHz more than is currently available in the 5.8GHz spectrum.

The DFS is now standard on all Tranzeo radios ensuring FCC compliance and allowing customers additional channels and spectrum.
