When will WiMAX Mobile be available?
Mobile WiMAX or IEEE 802.16e technical specifications are finalized. Best estimates in the industry are that Mobile WiMAX products will begin achieving mass market deployment in the US in late 2007 with Sprint. In the US, Clearwire and other smaller vendors area already in deployment with precursor Mobile WiMax radios. Internationally, the numbers using precursor Mobile WiMax are even higher.
