Pacific Wireless Announces the Release of New 3.5GHz Parabolic Grid Dish Antenna
Pacific Wireless today announced the release of its newest edition to its 3.5GHz product line, the 3.5GHz parabolic grid dish antenna.
The addition of the grid dish antenna expands a 3.5GHz product line which includes flat panel directional antennas and solid parabolic dish antennas.
“The 3.5GHz band has been in use internationally for some time and just now under examination by the FCC for inclusion in the license free band allocations in the USA,” said Scott Parsons, Vice President of Business Development for Cushcraft’s Pacific Wireless division. “3.5GHz appears to be the band of choice for future WiMax rollouts in the USA because of its higher available bandwidth, good propagation haracteristics and less band congestion. The grids from Pacwireless are field proven in all sorts of demanding applications. Pacwireless grids are always a good choice for outdoor applications because of their inherent low wind loading which results in lower infrastructure costs. ”
The 3.5GHz parabolic grid directional antennas offered by Pacific Wireless utilize a patented parabolic grid design with a Patented high performance dipole feed. The antennas are constructed of welded steel wires which are galvanized and then powder coat painted with light gray epoxy paint. The wire grid semi-parabolic design offers
unsurpassed low wind loading while maintaining good RF performance. The compact low visual impact attractive styling blends well in almost any application. Mounting is simplified with the Pacific Wireless bracket system made of galvanized steel with stainless steel hardware. The antenna comes with 30” pigtail with choice of N Male or N Female connector.
** Cost of the GD35 is as low as $47.56 for the 17dBi, $50.96 each for the 20dBi and $67.96 for the 25dBi. Prices are in 100 unit quantities.
