Since that time Aloha also acquired the second and third largest owners of 700 MHz spectrum. As a result, Aloha currently owns 12MHz of spectrum covering 60% of the United States - including all of the top 10 markets and 84% of the population in the top 40 markets. The company's strategy is to provide high-speed, wireless broadband Internet access utilizing 700 MHz spectrum at home, at the office and on the road. At this time, only about 1 out of 4 of Aloha's licenses can be used for Broadband because UHF Broadcasters are currently transmitting on these frequencies. |
