About the Webinar
Asentria helps
administrators cost-effectively manage their remote WiMAX
infrastructure, while extending confidence and security to ensure
availability, integrity and cost-efficiencies. By helping service
providers avoid failures from poor performing equipment that threaten
end-user service expectations, Asentria enables you to better control
and predict your remote WiMAX infrastructure. Our products provide a new
level of protection by shielding end-users from remote site equipment
failure, and enabling administrators with optimized alert response times
due to equipment failure, inconsistent equipment operation and adverse
environmental conditions. Any one of these conditions can cause
end-users to experience service problems.
Asentria products monitor, collect and concentrate alarm data from
contact closures and serial interfaces, and mediate alarms into industry
standard protocols such as SNMP. Analog data such as voltage and current
from battery units are also monitored and collected. The collected alarm
data is automatically reported to the Network Operations Center (NOC)
through third-party Network Management applications.

understaffed locations. Asentria enables administrators to be instantly
alerted when current or potential problems occur, and take immediate
action to do repairs, or prevent impending problems, thus quickly
resolving issues and ensuring continual uptime.
